The creation of a tax-exempt nonprofit organization is a challenging endeavor. Stuart Sobel Consulting is especially adept at preparing the documentation and filing the appropriate forms with the Internal Revenue Service and other governmental authorities. Fees are structured to meet the needs of new organizations and will vary depending on the services requested.
Fees for a new organization that needs help with incorporating, preparing bylaws, securing a federal identification number and the filing of its application with the IRS for tax-exempt status range from $1,200 to $1,500 depending on the complexity of the application and the anticipated time that will be spent preparing the documents. One-half of the fee is payable when we commence work. The remaining one-half is payable when you receive the articles of incorporation and bylaws for your organization.
IRS filing fees and state incorporation fees are the responsibility of the client and not included in our fee. Reimbursement for travel and other similar expenses that may be required are not included in our fee.
Public speaking honorariums and fees for strategic planning, business plans, facilitation, and training will be negotiated as will the fees for tax planning and representation in tax controversy.
Stuart Sobel Consulting, Inc. will consider special payment arrangements.
